Velvet Sugar

A sweetness half-remembered in a shuttered room.

Velvet Sugar opens in a flicker of candied citrus and pink pepper, bright as sugared fruit catching candlelight. Soon the brightness softens into a plush floral haze—rose, violet, and pale blossoms drifting through velvet curtains.

Then another sweetness appears: not dessert, but something older and stranger. Powdered confections, almond dust, sugared petals—the ghost of forgotten candies kept in a tin. Black tea darkens the heart. Orris cools it to a cosmetic hush. Woods and amber resin draw the sweetness downward into shadow.

What lingers is not sugar, exactly, but atmosphere: candied petals, warm fabric, soft smoke, and skin.

Velvet Sugar moves from brightness to bloom, bloom to velvet dusk—decadent, secretive, quietly addictive.
